VIMEC company

VIMEC started as HTH (High Technology Holland) back in 1983. HTH was involved in the development of hardware as well as software. This got the interest of HCS and HTH was bought. During this period several inspection application have been built such as seatbelt & tyre inspection & verification of number plates. From HCS, VIMEC emerged in 1992. The focus was directed towards the glass industry and the pharmaceutical container production in particular.

During the development or manufacturing process we keep in close contact with our customers to ensure the final system fits well onto the production line providing the inspection performance required.

Site Acceptance Test

Great care to quality is given during the development and construction of the inspection systems.To ensure all functionalities are present all systems are subjected to a Factory Acceptance Test at VIMEC and a Site Acceptance Test at the customer's location. Specific tests such as a mechanical, electrical and software tests are performed in order to validate the system. An entry is made in the FAT document when a certain step has been executed and the system has passed this test. The same procedure is used when the system is tested in the factory.

In some case dedicated tests are set-up to verify customised requirement such as data communication with SPC software of automatic data generation for a server. Also dedicated measurements are extensively tested. A team of software and hardware engineers is present to provide first line support. All systems offer the possibility of connection to VIMEC by use of a Remote Service Box. This is a secure server designed by VIMEC. In this case immediate assistance can be provided when assistance is required.

Also updates to the existing software can be provide trough the Remore Service Box. Additional measurements can be added quickly or the results/graphical screens can be updated meeting new customer demands without interferring with the production.
