Cosmetic inspection
 Crack in heel
Our vial inspection systems performs very accurate cosmetic inspection while rotating the vials. This is done with a maximum speed of up to 120 vials per minute. In order to obtain accurate and stable product presentation the Rotohandler is used for vial handling. The Rotohandler also provides more image aquisition time than conventional lifting units. Typical cosmetic defects detected by our inspection units include: Cracks, Rust/oil/dirt, Chips, Stones, Scratches, Inclusions, Etc.
Vial with crack in lip Images of typical defects are included in the report "vials, cosmetic defects". The accuracy of the measurements depends on stable and accurate product presentation; this is achieved with the Rotohandler.
This unique handling mechanism has been integrated in our standardized Atlas, Dione and Rhea inspection systems. These systems are readily available for integration on all common single tact production lines such as Moderne Mecanique and Ariste (integration on Euromatic and Ghiver lines can also be realized). Dimensional measurements are often combined with cosmetic measurements and both types of measurements are carried out in the same inspection position of the Rotohandler. Therefore only one system is required when these types of measurements need to be carried out. Our vial inspection systems are delivered “turn key” and can be used immediately after installation.
