Our syringe inspection systems perform very accurate cosmetic inspection while rotating the syringes. This is done with a maximum speed of up to 120 syringes per minute.
Typical cosmetic defects include:

Cracks (body and flange)

Dirt

Chips

Stones

Scratches

Inclusions

Etc.

The accuracy of the measurements depends on stable and accurate product presentation. For this reason the Rotohandler has been developed. This unique handling mechanism has been integrated in our standardized Titania, Oberon, Cressida and Cordelia inspection systems. These systems are readily available for integration on all common single tact production lines including Moderne Mecanique and customized lines.

Dimensional measurements are often combined with cosmetic measurements (body/tip) and both types of measurements are carried out in the same inspection position of the Rotohandler. Therefore only one system is required when these types of measurements need to be carried out.
